Jet Lag

When you fly to the other side of the world, there's a bit of jet lag involved.  When you fly an infant to the other side of the world, you wonder if you've permenantly screwed up his internal clock and thereby doomed yourself to waking up at 4am for the rest of your life.  However, being forced to brave the dawn has reminded me of several things.

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
   for his compassions never fail. 
 They are new every morning;
   great is your faithfulness.
I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
   therefore I will wait for him.”


Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.
PSALM 90:14
